Abstract:
To increase use efficiency of frequencies in a short wave radio communication system.SOLUTION: An exemplary radio communication system comprises a land subsystem with a plurality of sites each including a transmitter 11 and a receiver 12 and a marine subsystem with one site including a transmitter 21 and receiver 22. The land subsystem includes: a radio wave propagation prediction section 14 that predicts a radio wave propagation characteristic; a communication quality collection section 16 that collects communication quality information from a receiver 12 of each of the sites in the land subsystem; and a transmitter/receiver control section 15 that selects a site and a frequency to be used for communication with the marine subsystem using the radio wave propagation characteristic predicted by the radio wave propagation prediction section 14 and the communication quality information collected by the communication quality collection section 16.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
