Abstract:
To provide a wireless LAN telephone communication method and system which effectively utilize a communication band and have high quality of calls.
A means is provided for duplicating a generated voice packet, prestoring one or more copies and collectively transmitting copies of one or more voice packets, generated prior to and a voice packet generated recently to one radio frame in transmission; and a means is provided for dividing a packet into original packets at a receiving side. Even if burst errors occur which may frequently occur on a wireless LAN, a voice packet is made redundant and transmitted, such that it is not necessary to perform retransmission.
