PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless power transmission apparatus, control method thereof and energy charging apparatus which are capable of increasing efficiency of energy injected into a resonator.SOLUTION: A wireless power transmission apparatus includes a second resonator configured to transmit power through a resonance with a first resonator, a switch configured to connect the second resonator to a power source, a setting unit configured to set a target amount of current to flow in the second resonator, and a control unit configured to control the switch on the basis of the target amount of current.
