Abstract:
PURPOSE: To configure a wiring box for communication cable systematically depending on the communication line while ensuring ventilation, maintainability and easy inspection when various machines, associated with a communication cable, are installed on the ground.
CONSTITUTION: An opening/closing box body 1 is installed on the ground for the purpose of maintenance and inspection of a ground communication line system. A mechanism 10 supporting an amplifier A for a communication cable C, a mechanism 20 supporting an emergency power supply P for feeding power to the amplifier A upon power interruption or the like, a mechanism 30 supporting a switch box B for the emergency power supply P, and a mechanism supporting a distributor for each consumer are combined selectively in the box body 1. A large number of grill window groups 8 are made in the left/right side walls 3, 5 and the front/rear side walls 4, 6 of the box body 1 which are covered, on the outer edges, thereof, with an upper side wall 7 thus forming a ventilation outlet.
