PURPOSE: To provide a processing device for a cable or the like which can execute wiring and piping of the cable or the like between a robot arm and the tip end of a wrist without exposing them to outside.
CONSTITUTION: In a wiring and piping processing device for laying and storing cables and tubes for supplying power, an electric current for signal and working fluid or the like to a wrist 26 attached to the tip end of a robot arm 22 supported through an articulation by a robot trunk stood on a base part of an industrial robot and a driving source such as an end effecter, a storing chamber 48 is divided at the tip end zone of the robot arm 22 for laying and storing the cables and tubes inside it. Moreover, a wiring and piping port 47 is provided at the shaft center of a rotation shaft for movably articulating the wrist 26 to the robot arm 22 so that the cables and tubes are connected to the wrist 26 through the wiring and piping port from the storing chamber.
