To provide a wiry object cutting device which can safely and easily do cutting with a high degree of dimensional accuracy even in the vicinity of a holing member.
This wiry object cutting device is composed of a holding member 6 as a base part having a thickness reduced in a pinching axis direction so as to be formed in a thin structure which can clamp a holding part 3 such as a sleeve, crossing the exposed part of the holding member 3, orthogonal to the latter, a swingable arm 7 formed of a J-like bending member, rotatably journalled at its one end to a position which is near to one end and spaced from the pinching axis of the pinching member 6, and confronting forward in the pinching axis direction so as to be swingably moved to and away from an extension of the pinching axis, a cutter holder 8 attached to the other end part of the swingable arm 7 so as to confront the pinching member 6 in the vicinity of the latter, and a cutter 9 fixed to the cutter holder 8 so that its cutting edge can cross in a plane orthogonal to the extension of the pinching axis of the clamping member 6 at a position just before the pinching member 6 in association with the swinging motion of the swingable arm 7.
