Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wood screw which is suitable for regulation of a clearance between a wood frame and an opening part, due to installing the wood frame without distortion by regulating the clearance, in the case where the wood frame such as a window and a door is engaged into the opening part foamed on the wall of a building.
SOLUTION: A screw thread 13a for screwing toward a tip top end, and a screw thread 13c of a direction reverse to a head part side, are formed on the shaft body 13 of a wood screw 11. A cut edge 12d and a slant edge 12e are formed on a head part 12. After the wood frame is tightly fit to the opening part of a wall by the wood screw, it is rotated in the reverse direction, and a clearance between the wood frame and the screw thread 13c. At that time, the screw thread 13c and the wood frame is fastened to each other, the wood frame and the opening part are separated from each other, and the head part of the wood screw is not projected from the wood frame.
