Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a pyrolignous acid having no carcinogenic risk in which benzpyrene in the pyrolignous acid is reduced to 20 ppt or less, further to 1 ppt or less, without reducing the amount of a component effective for human bodies.SOLUTION: The pyrolignous acid includes a content of benzpyrene of 20 ppt or less. In the pyrolignous acid, the content of benzpyrene is 1 ppt or less. The method for producing a purified liquid composition includes filling an open column with an octadecyl group-bonded silica in a slurry form followed by passing the pyrolignous acid before purification through the column.
