PURPOSE: To provide a high-strength wooden chair at a low cost by cutting a substantially flat plywood plate in a development of a chair and bending it at once into the chair comprising a seat part, a back part, leg parts, etc., while setting a lamination direction of lamination composing plates in the plywood plate properly.

CONSTITUTION: A wooer chair comprises a chair base plate 1 formed by cutting a single flat plywood plate, and the chair base plate 1 is formed of plural layers of lamination composing plates comprising thin plates laminated on each other in plural layers through unhardened binding agent. At this time, the lamination composing plates of the layers in the plywood plate are laminated in such a way that their grains cross each other laterally or vertically alternately at a corresponding position to a part 3 to be a seat part formed almost at the center of the chair base plate 1. The lamination composing plates at parts 2, 4a, 4b, 5 to be a back part, front and back leg parts, and a forward bent part are laminated in such a way that their grains are directed laterally to be extended in parallel. A reinforcement plywood plate 6 is laminated on the parts 4a, 4b to be the front and back leg parts for reinforcement of the leg parts.
