Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wooden chip supply method capable of stably and inexpensively supply an existing coal treatment facility with wooden biomass.SOLUTION: A wooden chip supply method supplies a supply destination with wooden chips C by allowing the same to fall through a feeding port provided with a grid 40. In the method, compressed air is injected toward the wooden chips C falling onto the grid 40 with: an injection speed of 4 m/s or more; an injection width not less than a supply width at a point where the wooden chips C start to fall; and an injection angular range from a depression angle of 30° and an elevation angle of 30° with respect to a horizontal plane.
