Title:
WOODWORKING GIMLET FOR LARGE HOLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3940716
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a woodworking gimlet for a large hole capable of boring a large aperture deep hole.
SOLUTION: A plurality of arm members 2 and 2 are laterally protruded from a center shaft part 1 and marking-off blades 3 and 3 are arranged on the outer peripheral edge loci of the arm members. The regions of marking-off blades 3 of the outer peripheral edge loci are cut off from the center of rotation by arranging scooping blades 4 and 4 to the respective front end parts of the arm members so as to differentiate cut-off regions. The side end parts of the leading ends of the scooping blades 4 are cut in an inclined state to form inclined cutting blades 5. Produced cut refuse is entangled with the arm members in a cleanly cut state to bore a large aperture deep hole without obstructing the cutting of the scooping blades.
