Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make it possible to embody a further reduction in the weight of a work attracting head of a chip mounter and the standardization of work depressing force and meet a more enhanced speedy operation of an automatic machine.
CONSTITUTION: A holding mechanism 13, which holds an attraction bit 12 to a housing main body, is provided with two air-tight thin films 18 and 19 which constitute a vacuum suction passage 27 which sucks a work W under vacuum and two diaphragms 14 and 15 which hold the attraction bit in such a fashion that it may be allowed to move in its longitudinal direction. There is formed an air vent path which releases the back pressure in the housing body 5 to the atmosphere in air tight thin films 18 and 19 and the air tight diaphragms 14 and 15.
