To provide a work carrying device ready for a press operated at high speed.

This work carrying device comprises a device body 3 installed between a first press provided on the upstream side and a second press provided on the downstream side of a tandem press line in which a plurality of presses are connected to each other in tandem, a first work carrying means 5 to carry a work 4 worked by the first press to the device body 3, a work turning means 8 which is provided on the device body 3 and turns the work 4 carried in from the first work carrying means 5 by approximately 180° in the horizontal direction, a positioning means 11 which is provided on a turntable 10 of the work turning means 8 to position the carried-in work 4, a work holding means which is provided on the turntable 10 and holds the work positioned by the positioning means 11, and a second work carrying means 6 to carry the work 4 turned by the work turning means to the second press. Since the work 4 worked by the first press can be carried to the second press at high speed, the productivity is improved.
