Abstract:
To provide a work device capable of appropriately processing (consuming) regenerative power generated in an electric motor even when a variation in actual required power (actual load) of the electric motor is large.SOLUTION: A work device connected to a travelling vehicle equipped with a prime mover for executing agricultural work includes: a work part for executing agricultural work by the rotation of a rotary body; an electric motor driven by electric power; a power transmission mechanism to which power generated by the driving of the electric motor and power from the prime mover are input, and which transmits the input power to the work part; a regenerative resistor for consuming regenerative power generated in the electric motor; a switching part for switching a state between a connection state and a cut-off state between the electric motor and the regenerative resistor; and a control part for controlling the driving of the electric motor and the switching operation of the switching part. The control part brings the switching part into a cut-off state when the command number of rotations of the rotary body commanded from the control part becomes the work stop number of rotations by which the work is stopped, and the actual number of rotations of the rotary body becomes the work stop number of rotations.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 26
