To eliminate complicated jigs such as that by which the upper or lower side of a work can be discriminated by means of a work posture control jig being installed in a parts-feeder, and that by which the upper or lower side of the work is reversed, to increase the work feeding capacity of the parts- feeder due to the elimination of the complicated work posture control jig, to facilitate the correspondence of the parts-feeder to various kinds of work, and to reduce the equipment investment of the work aligning/conveying device using this parts-feeder.
A work 1 is fed by a parts-feeder 10 to a chute 11 in a random posture in which either of front or rear of the work 1 is turned upward, and whether the upward surface of the work 1 sliding on the chute 11 by its own weight is front or rear is mechanically detected by a work front/rear detecting part 20 installed in the chute 11, and on the basis of this detecting signal, the work 1 whose upper or lower surface is opposite is reversed by the degree of 180° by means of the rotary box 31 of a work posture reversing part 30 installed in the chute 11, and is slid on the chute 11 in the posture as it is.
