To provide a gondola device for operation capable of carrying out an operation to an outer wall face of a building positioned between gondola bodies and suppressing diffusion of generated splash of a coating material and the like, when carrying out operations using a plurality of gondola bodies at the same time.SOLUTION: A plurality of gondola bodies 2A and 2B on which a worker carrying out an operation to an outer wall face and the like of a building can ride are arranged in a lateral direction. Each of the gondola bodies 2A and 2B is provided so as to ascend and descend. A connection member 65 is interposed between neighboring gondola bodies 2A and 2B, to connect them. The connection member 65 includes: a curtain-like dispersion preventing member 70 after connection provided at an opposite side to the outer wall face between the neighboring gondola bodies 2A and 2B; and a curtain-like dispersion preventing member 76 below connection provided at a lower part between the neighboring gondola bodies 2A and 2B. The curtain-like dispersion preventing member 70 after connection and the curtain-like dispersion preventing member 76 below connection are configured so that a distance between both end portions thereof is contractive and expansive in a direction in which the neighboring gondola bodies 2A and 2B approach and separate away from each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 20
