To provide a work holder which can be easily manufactured and replaced even if works are different in profile and thickness, and in dimension in sizes of profiles and surface directions of the works, can exactly position the works and a mask, and is inexpensive, and to provide a printer equipped with the work holder.

The work holder for holding the work which is an object to be printed in the printer has a planar shape including a planar shape of the work and has a work receiving plate where a hole for sucking the work is formed and a base member where a recessed part with a depth deeper than the thickness of the work receiving plate is formed and the work receiving plate can be freely attached to and detached from the recessed part.
