Abstract:
To improve stability and convenience of turning.SOLUTION: A work machine includes a steering device and a control device. The steering device includes a first traveling device and a second traveling device for supporting a machine body on the left side and right side, respectively, of the machine body and an operation member for operating traveling and steering of the machine body and drives each traveling device according to an operating state of the steering member to cause the machine body to move straight or turn. When it is determined whether the machine body is stable or not and it is determined that the operation member is operated by a maximum amount to either the left or right side and that the machine body is stable, the control device drives the first traveling device and the second traveling device at the same driving speed in different direction or drives the first traveling device and the second traveling device in different directions so that an absolute value of a difference in driving speed between the first traveling device and the second traveling device becomes smaller than or equal to a threshold value, thereby allowing a zero turn for causing the machine body to turn with a minimum turning radius approximate to zero; and when it is determined that the operation member is operated by an amount smaller than the maximum amount or that the machine body is not stable, the control device inhibits the zero turn.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
