Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a locate pin to be exchanged same as a tool show an equal function without attaching the locate pin to a work table to be a work positioning reference.
SOLUTION: When positioning a work W to a tilting work table 25, the locate pin 27 held by a main shaft 1 of a machining center is inserted in the work table 25 as the work W positioning reference. A work side hole H1 in which the locate pin 27 is inserted is subjected to cutting. When the work W is clamped by a clamper 8, the locate pin 27 is pulled out by the automatic action of the main shaft 1. The main shaft 1 carries out cutting on the work W after changing the locate pin 27 with a specified cutting tool.
