Title:
WORK FOR PREVENTING INFLOW OF WATER INTO UNDERGROUND SPACE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6370709
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To permit an urban part to utilize the title work by using a dam made of a highly water-absorptive resin for preventing the inflow of water.

CONSTITUTION: A dam 9 formed by packing a highly water-absorptive resin into a water-permeable cloth bag is set in the channel of water coming into the space under the ground, where the resin absorbs water and is expanded to interrupt the inflow of water. The construction system can be utilized even in the urban part because the needs for sand bags as in the conventional cases can be eliminated. Also, since the dam 9 can be stored in the dried state, the storing space can be reduced.
