To provide a work progressive unit device allowing speed-up of movement of a carrier while reducing vibration of the device, allowing reduction of the number of device components, and allowing reduction of restrictions in designing and manufacturing of the device.
In this work progressive device, a carrier 105 performs box motion (an arrow B1→B2→B3→B4→B1) with a box mechanism 110. The box mechanism 110 has a first plate 111 for supporting the carrier 105; a first linear motion guide member 112 for supporting the first plate 111 to linearly guide the first plate 111 to the arrow B1 and arrow B3 directions; a second plate 113 for supporting the first linear motion guide member 112; a second linear motion guide member placed on the upper face of a bed 102, for supporting the second plate 113 to linearly guide the second plate 113 to the arrow B2 and B4 directions perpendicular to the X-directions; a first drive mechanism 121 for reciprocating the carrier 105 in the arrow B1 and B3 directions; and a second drive mechanism 131 for reciprocating the carrier 105 in the arrow B2 and B4 directions.
