Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a socket for work tool which prevents a sliding member from being detached from a work tool even when the sliding member is slidingly operated against the urging force.SOLUTION: A socket for work tool includes: a socket body 5 which has a socket part 7 on one end part side and an attachment part 9 externally fit to a bit 3 on the side apart from the one end part; and a sliding member 6 which is slidingly attached to the outer periphery of the socket body 5. The socket body 5 includes an engagement part 10 which is engaged with an engagement object part 3M of the outer peripheral surface of the bit 3 to fix the position of the socket body 5 and a through hole 11 which moves the engagement part 10 in the radial direction. The sliding member 6 includes a contact part 12 which pushingly moves the engagement part 10 to the engagement object part 3M side and a recess part 13 which matches the through hole 11 and permits movement of the engagement part 10 to the side apart from the engagement object part 3M. The sliding member 6 is configured so as to be rotatable with respect to the socket body 5 so as to be in the state where the position of the through hole 11 matches the position of the recess part 13 in the circumferential direction and the state where the positions deviate each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
