PURPOSE: To obtain a work transport means used in a sizer device while eliminating needs for adjusting a vertical pressing force on a work and adjusting a height of a work in a held state and reducing cylinders in number.
CONSTITUTION: A work transport means comprises a movable base 30 moving orthogonally to a transport direction of a transport table; a slider 42 vertically slidably provided on the movable base 30; a cylinder 44 provided at one of upper and lower ends of the slider; a first work holding plate 45a provided at a top end of a piston rod 44a of the cylinder; and a second work holding plate 45b provided at the other upper or lower end of the slider. By extending the cylinder, a work is firmly clamped between the first and second work holding plates at the upper and lower surfaces thereof.
