PURPOSE: To set a heavy and large work on a table with less labor by furnishing a work carry-in and carryout means to be coupled with a conveyor means in place at the X-direction motion end of the table.

CONSTITUTION: A table 4 is set at the X-direction motion end, and a conveyor means 4 situated above it is coupled with a carry-in means C. Then conveyor means A is driven, and a work W on the carry-in means C is fed to the table 4. The work W fed onto the table 4 is set in place by a fixing means B. In the fixed condition, the X-direction motion control of the table 4 and the Y- direction and Z-direction motion controls of a cutter 20 are made, and thus the work W undergoes three-dimensional working as specified. After finish of this working, the table 4 is set at the X-axis motion end, and the conveyor means A and carry-out means D are coupled. Then the fixing means B is disengaged, and the conveyor means A is driven to send the processed work W on the table 4 to the carry-out means D.
