The worker placement support device includes a frequency information storage part for storing frequency information indicating the frequency of occurrence of works in an area; a travel distance calculating part for calculating the travel distance of a worker from his/her current position to each area; a predicted placement information calculating part for calculating, on the basis of the frequency information stored in the frequency information storage part and the travel distance calculated by the travel distance calculating part, predicted placement information indicating priority for the placement of workers in positions where the works are predicted to take place; and a placement instruction information generating part for determining placement destinations according to the predicted placement information calculated by the predicted placement information calculating part and for generating placement instruction information for providing instructions about the placement destinations. The placement instruction information generated by the placement instruction information generation part is sent to a terminal device that each worker to be assigned carries.
