PURPOSE: To provide a working bench for wooden work which can transfer a workpiece to the next working surface, without releasing the workpiece from a stock vice, by integrally revolving the stock vice and the workpiece, nipping- holding-fixing the workpiece such as a wooden member, on the stock vice.

CONSTITUTION: A working bench or wooden work is equipped with the first frame 3 which is shiftable in th longitudinal direction on a base seat 1, pair of pipes 4 which are shiftable in the lateral direction on the first frame 3, and a stock vice 6 having a plurality of grooves in pair which are formed on the outer periphery and correspond to the outside diameter of the pipe 4. The groove is fitted onto the pipe 4, and the stock vice 6 is mounted on the pipe 4, and the stock vice 6 is revolved on the pipe 4, engaging the pipe 4 with the groove by operating a handle 26 installed on the stock vice 6, and the revolution of the stock vice 6 is regulated by a regulating member 9 engaged with the first frame 3 and the stock vice 6.
