To provide a working control device which is capable of maintaining the operating efficiency of a working machine as specified by preventing a detection error from occurring in photoelectric sensors due to wood chips and achieving the improvement of workability or the ensuring of safety by dispensing with the work to remove the wood chips.
The working control device 1 is equipped with the working machine 10 which relatively moves to a wood 2 and a plurality of reflection-type photoelectric sensors 30 arranged in a direction A where the wood 2 is disposed. The working machine 10 is actuated under control based on the detection of the wood 2 arranged above the photoelectric sensors 30 by the latter. A sensor cover 40 provided on each of the photoelectric sensors 30 has a light transmission part 41 which allows the transmission of light from the sensors 30 and the light transmission part 41 covers the luminescent part 31 and the light receiving part 32 of each of the photoelectric sensor 30 and is inclined at an angle enabling the wood chip produced from the wood 2 to drop.
