Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the operability and prevent wrong operation by forming an operating pedal provided on the floor surface by a main pedal and an expandable sub-pedal, and enabling rotating drive and suitable work with one pedal.
CONSTITUTION: An operating pedal 10 provided on the floor surface of a driver's seat is formed by connecting a sub-pedal 24 to a main pedal 23 through a hinge shaft 25 in such a manner as to freely turn on the hinge. In the case where the sub-pedal 24 is stored (folded and superposed) in the main pedal 23, the main pedal 23 independently turns the turning driving part. In the case of operating the suitable operating part provided or connected to the turning driving part, the sub-pedal 24 is expanded and operated, so that turning and the other operation can be performed with one operating pedal 10. Further, if the sub- pedal 24 is expanded, the main pedal 23 is locked so that the main operation (operation of the turning driving part) can not be conducted. Thus, some allowance is given to the foot space of the floor part, and the pedal can be easily operated to prevent wrong operation.
