Abstract:
To provide a work machine which can realize a fixing structure suitable for a base.SOLUTION: A base 60 of an electric-driven trimmer 10 has a fixing structure 70 switching between a fixing state in which the base 60 is fixed to a housing 22 and a release state which releases the fixing state. The base 60 also has a retention mechanism 80 which retains the base 60 at the temporarily fixed state to the housing 22 in the release state of the fixing structure 70. In particular, the base 60 is retained by the retention mechanism 80 so that the base 60 does not fall by its own weight in the release state of the fixing structure 70. The retention mechanism 80 works as a mechanism assisting the fixing structure 70 in the release state of the fixing structure 70, so the retention mechanism 80 suppresses that the fixing force of the base 60 to the housing 22 becomes zero immediately.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
