Abstract:
PURPOSE: To maintain good working accuracy by easily correcting working on the basis of a working error due to deviation of alignment while working both inner and outer wall surfaces of an involute curve part.
CONSTITUTION: A tool 16 is brought into contact with the radial outside part of the inner wall surface 35B of a scroll wall 32 in a position shifted in the direction of Y-axis by a radius ro of an involute base circle BC. After that, while the scroll wall 32 is rotated round the center of the base circle BC, the normal direction of the wall surface in a point of contact between the tool 16 and the wall surface is always aligned with the direction of X-axis, and the tool 16 and the scroll wall 32 are relatively moved in the directions of X-axis and Y-axis in such a manner that the tool 16 is pressed to the wall surface from the same side, whereby the inner wall surface 35B, the wall surface 34 of the central part and the outer wall surface 35A are continuously worked in order in the same direction.
