Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize the roundness of a bent part in performing the right- angled bending of the square tube, to decrease restriction on a design by using the bent tube as the legs of the chair, and to decrease the number of parts to be used.
SOLUTION: The square tube 1 is supported at two points 7, 8, and at one point on the opposite side between the two fulcrums 7, 8, while regulating a deformation in the width direction of the square tube 1 by the regulating plates 3, 4, etc., of a jig 2, the square tube 1 is pushed, is pressed by a fitting 9, and is bent at right angle. And, a leg frame in which the square tube 1 bent in a portal form and integrally by this bending method, is included as front legs and rear legs, is constituted, and the chair is formed by using this leg frame.
