To provide a working method for a rod lens and a working tool and a working device therefor allowing providing good working accuracy for a lens length, an angle of an inclined face, and a length of the residual face and mass production.
A lens assembling sheet 18 having the rod les 11 is installed on an installation face 24a inclined to a base 22 by a predetermined angle θand a face in parallel with the base 22 is ground and polished, and accordingly a lens assembling sheet 19 worked by the predetermined angle of θ can be produced. Since plural stands 23 capable of fixing the lens assembling sheets thereon are mounted, plural rod lenses 11 can be worked by the predetermined angle of θ and the rod lenses with good working accuracy can be mass-produced.
