Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the stability, the high speed rotation property, and the durability of the working tool by providing a plate-like ball holder for holding balls in prescribed positions.
SOLUTION: By using an adjusting plate 3, a mutual distance in the axial direction of rolling roller frames 4 is changed. When changing the distance in the axial direction of the rolling roller frames 4, a position in the radial direction of the radius of the ball is changed as well. Consequently, the fine adjustment of a tube can be attained by using the tool. The precision of the adjustment can be increased by changing the number of the adjusting plates 3 or its thickness, for instance, to 0.005mm. When increasing the total thickness of the adjusting plates 3, the thickness of a tube wall is increased as well. For the rolling roller frame 4, a ball holder 5 is arranged between the frames, and on the inside of the ball holder 5, a clearance with a shape according to the number of the working balls is formed. By this ball holder 5, the balls 6 stay in their fixed positions at the time of the start of an operation, and they are separated during a working process.
