Abstract:

To provide a workpiece taking-out apparatus mounted on the wrist portion of a robot without interference between the workpiece taking-out apparatus and a pallet.

When a sheet of glass 3 taken out of a first pallet 4 is loaded on a second pallet 5, an attraction holding mechanism (workpiece holding means) 19 makes an entry into a glass placing part 55 between a pair of workpiece supporting members 50, 50 composing the second pallet 5, while a flip-up member 20, a height copying means 21, a width direction copying means 22 and a division plate inserting means 23 (flip-up mechanism) approach to between the glass placing part 55 and the outer frame 52 of the second pallet 5. Further, a workpiece holding means 61 is positioned outside the outer frame of the second pallet 5.
