To provide a workpiece positioning device where freedom degree of attitude variation of the workpiece is large and space-saving can be obtained with a simple constitution.
The workpiece positioning device is a device for applying welding with a laser processing head 4 at a robot 2 side, and equipped with a pair of links 6 rockably connected to a pedestal 1 through a hinge pin connecting part 7, and a movable base 9 which is rockably connected to an upper end of the links 6 through the hinge pin connecting part 7 and where a worktable 10 and a rotation drive mechanism 11 therefor are mounted. The pedestal 1, the links 6, and the movable base 9 constitute a quadri-crank linkage mechanism, and the link length of the links 6 is variably elongated and contracted by a link body (screw shaft) 13 and a servo motor 15 for driving it to advance or retract. Simultaneously the device has a cushion cylinder 17 for absorbing the shock when the workpiece is mounted.
