To provide a safe and inexpensive workpiece reversing device having a relatively simple structure, capable of surely avoiding a trouble, for example, dropping a workpiece during a reversing action.
The workpiece reversing device has a cramp part 2 and a rotation driving part for rotating the cramp part 2. The cramp part 2 has a first cramp piece and a second cramp piece, an interconnecting mechanism part for interconnecting both the cramping pieces and a guiding rod 25 for moving to open and close following an opening/closing movement of the first cramping piece. The guiding rod 25 has a rod-like main body and a large diameter part 251. A guide plate 4 is mounted at a side of the cramp part 2 and a mounting position of the guide plate 4 is set in a movement route of the large diameter part 251 of the guiding rod 25. In the guide plate 4, non-interference groove parts 41, 42 in which the large diameter part 251 of the guiding rod 25 can move through the guide plate 4 are provided and an interference groove part 43 for preventing the large diameter part 251 of the guiding rod 25 from moving through the guide plate 4 is provided.
