Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a medical instrument for wound protection, safely holding a bandage on a wound and enabling easy replacement and removal of a wound bandage. CONSTITUTION: A wound bandage locking instrument comprises a soft base member 12 having an adhesive application surface and a nonadhesive front surface; a plurality of sheet holding members 30 joined to the base member 12 in a predetermined pattern and projecting from the front surface of the base member 12; and a soft holding sheet member 40 having a predetermined size covering and overlapping with a wound bandage, and having a hanging means accepting each of the sheet holding members 30 in order to hang the sheet member 40 to the sheet holding members 30.
