To provide a wound body of an optical film by which deviation in rolling is controlled and the formation of winkles caused by tight winding is controlled.
An optical film 1A of a long form is wound into a roll to form the wound body 1 of the optical film. In the wound body 1 of the optical film, a surface of the optical film 1A is knurl-processed, and the height of knurling is ≥2 μm and ≤50 μm. The optical film 1A has two different parts having the knurling height of ≥3 μm and ≤30 μm. In the wound body 1 of the optical film, one of the two parts having the higher knurling height is located at an inner circumferential part of the optical film 1A, and the other part having the lower knurling height is located at the outer circumferential part of the optical film 1A which is the outside of the inner circumferential part.
