Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent conglutination with a normal part and other organs having functions of healing wounds and preventing bleeding during an operation by forming a material having a collagen layer and a chitin layer adhered to the top thereof.
CONSTITUTION: This is a wound surface covering material comprising a collagen layer and a chitin layer adhered to the top thereof. A fleece-like collagen layer has a higher healing effect of a wound surface as compared with that having a higher density. The adhesive herein used is, for example, a starch paste, gelatin, a chemically synthetic adhesive and fibrinogen.
