To enable a woven fabric of a metallic wire such as a wire net to be utilized in a decoration application or other applications by solving the problems that the exploitation of new applications is required for further enlargement of production although the woven fabric of the metallic wire has been utilized conventionally and widely not only for a general industry but also as a functional material for general industry such as kitchen utensil and facilities for drainage.

The metallic woven fabric 1 is obtained by using a strip-shaped face material, e.g. a wire net material 9, and a metallic wire material 5 as a warp wire 3, and another metallic wire 11 as a weft wire, and weaving the weft wires 11 with the warp wires 3. The woven fabric has excellent decorativeness because the wire net material of the strip-shaped face material is used as the warp wire 3.
