Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a woven fabric in which a deformation retention part does not remain, and the function of functional yarns is not impaired.SOLUTION: A woven fabric includes functional yarns 4 which are thicker and less flexible than fiber warp yarns 10 and have a prescribed function. The functional yarns 4 are caused to pass through healds intermittently with respect to a plurality of the fiber warp yarns 10. Adjacent two dents among dents 105 forming a reed are intermittently cut off at a plurality of places. Adjacent two thin plates 106 are arranged so as to be shifted to a warp yarn wound side at each cut-off part, and the functional yarn 4 is caused to pass between the two thin plates 106. Fiber weft yarns 20 are interwoven with the fiber warp yarns 10 to form a woven fabric structure, and on the woven fabric structure, a plurality of woven fabric placement parts on which the functional yarns 4 are placed are formed so as to be arranged in a weft direction. The functional yarns are arranged on the fiber warp yarns of the woven fabric placement parts, and part of the fiber weft yarns are caused to pass over the functional yarns 4 to fix the functional yarns on the woven fabric placement parts.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 35
