Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the abrasion resistance of selvedge parts by arranging weft yarns in many upper and lower layers and weaving reinforcing warp yarns arranged in the selvedge parts in a specific state.
CONSTITUTION: Papermaking woven fabric is woven from upper weft yarns 1', 2'... ate, lower weft yarns 1", 2"..., warp yarns 5 see and further reinforcing warp yarns (4) and (5) on the lower side of selvedge parts between the ends in the width direction of the woven fabric to a part at 200mm distance therefrom. The reinforcing warp yarns are adjacently arranged and woven in different positions with the lower weft yarns to form long crimps protruding to the abrasive surface.
