PURPOSE: To provide the subject woven fabric containing textile cord used as the warp having specific physical properties and uniformly distributed in a tire-reinforcing woven fabric produced by weaving a textile cord as the warp and treating the fabric with an adhesive for tire cord.

CONSTITUTION: The objective woven fabric contains a warp having a 60% elongation load of ≤500g and a 70% elongation load of ≥1,000g in a tire- reinforcing woven fabric produced by weaving a textile cord as the warp and treating the fabric with an adhesive for tire cord. The above weft can be produced by adjusting the denier of a core yarn and the denier, uncrimping extension, winding pitch, etc., of a sheath yarn in the production of a covering yarn by using an undrawn filament yarn of a synthetic fiber such as polyester or nylon as a core yarn and spirally winding a sheath yarn composed of a drawn and crimped yarn of the above synthetic fiber on the core yarn.
