The packaging material feeding apparatus includes a packaging material reel 10 made by winding a packaging material 1, the reel driving motor 20 for rotationally driving the packaging material reel 10, a reel driving motor controlling apparatus 70 for controlling the rotational speed of the reel driving motor 20, a delivery apparatus 40 for furthermore delivering the packaging material 1 delivered from the packaging material reel 10, a delivery motor 50 for driving the delivery apparatus 40, and a delivery motor controlling apparatus 60 for outputting a control signal for controlling the rotational speed of the delivery motor 50. This reel driving motor controlling apparatus 70 controls the rotational speed of the reel driving motor 20 so that the packaging material delivery speed from the packaging material reel 10 is linked with the packaging material delivery speed of the delivery apparatus 40 from the control signal output to the delivery motor 50 from the delivery motor controlling apparatus 60.
