Abstract:
To obtain a dedicated wrapping machine for wrapping a tape or the like on a composition surface in a composing process, in a braider for manufacturing pipes.
A mandrel transfer means 3 for supporting both lengthwise ends Ma, Mb of a mandrel M for moving the mandrel M in an axial direction is provided, and a tape wrapping unit 4 for winding a tape on a composition layer of the mandrel during transfer of the mandrel M is fixed at a predetermined position with respect to the transfer means 3. The tape wrapping unit 4 includes a tape wrapping mechanism TR and comprises a mandrel deflection preventing means 28 for preventing the mandrel M from deflecting provided at least one of upstream and downstream sides of the tape wrapping mechanism TR.
