PURPOSE: To efficiently emit desired fragrance for improving working environments by providing a fragrant device having a container of an aromatic and an emitting means for emitting the aromatic with specific timing.

CONSTITUTION: An end seal device 5 is provided toward a direction of the progress of a carry means 3 for carrying an object 1 to be wrapped, while a container 41 with a fragrant device 40 housed is placed in the vicinity of the end seal device 5. Air flows in a tube connected from the container 41 to an emitting nozzle 44 so that an aromatic can be smoothly emitted outside on the air. The fragrant device 40 is operated according to working timing of the end seal device 5 to emit the aromatic in the vicinity of a center sealer 26 and the end seal device 5. By scattering the aromatic, an effect of the fragrance can be exhibited efficiently to an operator. Although an offensive odor is generated due to fusion of a film when the film is thermally sealed by the center sealer 26 and end sealers 31, 31', the odor can be eliminated efficiently by the aromatic.
