Title:
WRIST MOUNTING CHARGE DETECTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3421826
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enhance the detection-sensitivity required for the work carried out in a housing of high voltage machine.
CONSTITUTION: The wrist mounting charge detector 1 comprises a detector body 11 incorporating a circuit 4 for detecting a microcurrent being induced electrostatically in a human body approaching a charged part 2 of a high voltage machine housed in a metallic housing through the capacitance C01 formed between the charged part 2 and a detection electrode 3 and the capacitance C02 formed between the human body and the earth, and a circuit 5 delivering an alarm based on a detection signal. The detection electrode 3 is led out from the detector body 11 to the outside for form an antenna extending toward the tip of hand and the detection antenna 3 is coated with a flexible insulating member 12.
