Title:
WRITE ONCE OPTICAL DISK FOR CD OR CD-ROM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2500969
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a write once optical disk for a CD or CD-ROM excellent in stability and also improved in recording characteristics by successively laminating a recording film containing a specific phthalocyanine compound, a reflecting film and a protective film on a transparent substrate.
CONSTITUTION: A predetermined amount of a phothalocyanine compound represented by formula I [wherein X1-X4 are substituents such as an alkyl group, an aryl group, an aralkyl group or an aryloxy group, n1-n4 are an integer of 0-4, M is a metal such as Al or Ga, Z is a group represented by formula II (wherein R1 and R2 are an alkyl group or an aryl group) and m is 1 or 2] is dissolved in an org. solvent to prepare a coating solution for a recording film. This coating solution is applied to a transparent substrate made of glass or a synthetic resin and dried to form the recording film. A film of metal such as Au, Al or Co is formed on the recording film by vacuum vapor deposition to form a reflecting film and, subsequently, an ultraviolet curable resin is applied to the reflecting film by spin coating and dried to form a protective film to obtain a write once optical disk.
