Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a writing instrument capable of preventing the occurrence of ink outlet failure as a result of it, due to avoiding precipitating-solidifying the solid content of ink in a small space between a valve element and a valve seat member.SOLUTION: A writing instrument comprises a pen body 2, a front shaft 3 for movably holding the pen body 2 in the longitudinal direction in a front end part, a rear shaft 4 threadedly engaging the front shaft 3 with a front end part outer surface and having an ink storage part on the inside and a valve device 5 arranged in a front end opening part of the rear shaft 4 and opening by pressing the pen body 2 backward. An ink circulation hole 97 for communicating the ink storage part inside and the valve storage cylinder 9 inside, is penetratingly provided in a sidewall of a cylindrical part 93 in front of a locking wall part 95. A bottomed cylindrical cup-shaped part 64 for opening forward is provided in a rear end part of a valve element 6. When a front end of the cup-shaped part 64 is in an abutting state on an abutting wall part 94, the ink circulation hole 97 is closed from the outside by the cup-shaped part 64.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
