The writing utensil is equipped with an internal cylinder 3, in which ink 2 is fluidly and directly held and the rear end is opened, with an external cylinder 4, in which the internal cylinder 3 is internally provided coaxially and loose-insertionally so as to secure space 5 that is provided between the external cylinder 4 and the internal cylinder 3 and communicated with the outside through an air exchange groove 8 and has a necessary cross section and the rear end is closed, and with a penpoint 1 equipped in an opening of the front ends of the external cylinder 4 and the internal cylinder 3. Ink 2 is fluidly held in space of the inside of the internal cylinder 3 in necessary holding length LA. Balance liquid A6-1 having specific gravity smaller than ink 2 is fluidly held in necessary holding length LB in the state joining from the interface 9 of balance liquid A6-1 and ink 2 on the rear part side thereof. On one hand, balance liquid 6-2 having specific gravity of the same degree as ink 2 is held in necessary holding length LC in the state joining from the interface 10 of balance liquid 6-2 and the balance liquid A6-1 on the rear part side of space 5 in the inside of the external cylinder 4.
